Cookies

Like many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard disk. This automatically provides us with certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transfer viruses to a computer. We can use the information contained in cookies to make navigation easier for you and to enable our web pages to be displayed correctly. Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. In general, you can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how you can change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the transmitted data cannot be read by third parties.

Server log files

The provider of the pages collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This involves the following information:

– IP address
– Host name of the accessing computer
– Time of the server request
– Operating system used
– Referrer URL

To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide your e-mail address. When you register to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed by e-mail about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).

We require a valid e-mail address for effective registration. For this purpose, we log the order of the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the requested reply. The data will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. There is a corresponding link in every newsletter.

Objection to advertising emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published as part of our obligation to provide a legal notice for the purpose of sending unsolicited information material and advertising. Those responsible for this website reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

Your consent will be obtained for the processing of the data before it is sent and reference will be made to the privacy policy. Alternatively, you can contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the personal data of the user transmitted with the e-mail will be stored.

The processing of the personal data from the input mask serves us solely to process the contact. If you contact us by email, this also constitutes the necessary legitimate interest in processing the data. The other personal data processed during the sending process is used to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data is used exclusively for processing the contact request.

We process your personal data for these purposes until you revoke your consent with effect for the future or as long as this is necessary to achieve the purpose. Google Web Fonts

This informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

You can find more information on this in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

The purpose of the data processing is to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on activities on the website. Based on the use of the website and the Internet, further related services are then to be provided. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Information on data processing in connection with Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the controller responsible for data processing on this website is located outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Analytics data processing is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited are hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Google Analytics ensures anonymization of the IP address by shortening it and excludes the possibility of direct personal references. By extension, Google’s IP address is shortened beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the relevant browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

On behalf of the website operator, Google will use the information collected to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The legitimate interest in data processing lies in the optimization of this website, the analysis of the use of the website and the adaptation of the content. The interests of users are adequately protected by pseudonymization.

Google LLC. offers a guarantee to comply with an appropriate level of data protection on the basis of the standard contractual clauses. The data sent and linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 50 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.

The collection by Google Analytics can be prevented by the site visitor adjusting the cookie settings for this website.

The collection and storage of the IP address and the data generated by cookies can also be objected to at any time with effect for the future. The corresponding browser plugin can be downloaded and installed at the following link: Browser plugin to deactivate Google Analytics.

Further information on the use of data by Google, setting and objection options, can be found in Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, Google AdWords will set a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this – for example, by using a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies or by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com”. Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not wish measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API to display geographical information visually. When Google Maps is used, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of the map functions by visitors. You can find more information about data processing by Google in the Google privacy policy. You can also change your personal data protection settings there in the data protection center.

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. YouTube is informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior. If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to expect any such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Order data processing

The query is used to distinguish whether the input is made by a human or abusively by automated, machine processing. The query includes sending the IP address and any other data required for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, your input is transmitted to Google and used there.

However, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA will not be merged with other Google data.
